If you may have noticed, I've been generally very generous with my rating of the programs offered on Giveawayoftheday.com - I've (so far) not given any of them a thumbs down.
Actually, I skipped testing some of the giveaways due to time constraints. It takes more time than I expected to test out, evaluate, capture screenshots and post these reviews. So after a quick evaluation based on the software's homepage and feature set, I'll decide whether to give it a miss. That also means that any program reviewed here would most likely be a download-worthy one.
Desktop3D offered on Giveawayoftheday.com didn't look as promising as its name suggests. Its name did remind me of a demo video of BumpTop I saw a few years ago.
BumpTop aims to give a 3D twist to desktops, by allowing you to stack, flip through, fan out etc. your files, just like a physical workdesk. Check out the video below from ZDNET.
The program is currently in private beta, you can request to test the software from bumptop.com
